Winter Sowing, Native Seed Swap, and Booze & Bake
TBD Venue
Even though it’s getting colder, there’s still gardening work to be done. Because many native plants need cold stratification to germinate, on the second Sunday in December, we host stations for winter sowing demonstrations, and set up with attendees with the tools and skills to grow natives in repurposed milk jugs. Then, take your jugs home and pop them outside, where milkweed, little blue stem, and more will sprout in the spring! Feel free to bring homemade libations and baked goods to share with neighbors!
